What we collect, and what we do with it

Last updated September 10, 2026

RuckTech LLC ("RuckTech," "we," "us") operates rucktech.net and the client portal reachable from it. This page explains what information we collect from visitors and clients, why, and who else ever sees it. We're a small operator — this policy describes our actual practice, not a template we haven't read.

Information we collect

When you submit a contact or quote form: name, email, company name (optional), and whatever you write in the message field.

When you create a client account: your email address and, if you provide it, your name, phone number, and business address, for the purpose of preparing proposals and delivering service.

When you accept a proposal or pay an invoice: the proposal and payment records tied to your account. Card and bank details are entered directly with Stripe, our payment processor — we never receive or store the underlying numbers.

Automatically: standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) as any website generates. We do not currently run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on rucktech.net.

How we use it

To respond to inquiries, prepare and deliver proposals, provide the managed IT/security services you've engaged us for, process payments, and meet our own tax and business recordkeeping obligations. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party, ever.

Who we share it with

Only the vendors that make the site and our services function, each acting on our behalf and bound to use your data solely to provide their service to us: Stripe (payment processing), Supabase (our database and authentication provider), and Resend (transactional email delivery — proposal links, notifications). We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active or as needed to meet legal, tax, and contractual recordkeeping requirements. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data at any time — see contact info below — and we will do so except where we're legally required to retain a record (e.g., signed contracts, tax-related billing records).

Cookies

We use only the minimum cookies/local storage needed to keep you signed in to the client portal. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Children's privacy

RuckTech's services are intended for businesses and organizations, not for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a material way, we'll update the date above and, for active clients, let you know directly.
